1. About these terms

These terms govern your use of extractvid and its download features. By submitting a link you accept them. If you do not accept them, do not use the service. Questions: extractvids@gmail.com.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 18, or the age of majority where you live, and able to enter into this agreement. There is no user account; you are responsible for every link you submit and for what you do with the resulting file.

3. Your responsibilities

Before submitting a link you must have a lawful basis to access, copy and use the material. That may be ownership, permission covering your intended use, or a legal exception such as fair dealing. Permission from an uploader does not necessarily cover music, footage or artwork owned by someone else.

You must also comply with the source platform's terms. Public availability, attribution or an intention to keep a personal copy does not by itself authorise a download. If you cannot establish the rights, do not submit the request.

4. Prohibited conduct

• Infringing copyright, trade marks, privacy or other rights, or helping someone else do so.
• Requesting private, members-only, paywalled, rental or login-restricted material.
• Supplying account credentials, session cookies or access tokens.
• Bulk scraping, automation, evading rate limits or reselling access to the service.
• Interfering with the service, probing it without permission, or using it to reach unrelated systems.
• Submitting knowingly false complaints or impersonating another person.

These limits apply whether or not a request could technically be completed. A working download button is not approval of the request.

5. What the service does with media

We resolve the public payload for the link you submit, list the renditions the source exposes, and stream the file you pick to your device. extractvid is not a media library or backup service: media passes through, is not retained as a library, and may be buffered or briefly cached to complete delivery and retries. Links and results expire.

Availability, quality, size and processing time depend on the source and on technical conditions. A label does not guarantee that a given quality exists.

6. Intellectual property

The design, text and code of extractvid belong to its operator. Third-party names and marks belong to their owners. extractvid is independent and is not affiliated with, sponsored by or endorsed by TikTok, YouTube, Google, Instagram, Meta or Snap Inc.

7. Advertising and third parties

The service is funded by advertising. Advertisements and outbound links are operated by third parties under their own terms and privacy policies; a link is not an endorsement. Never send credentials or payment details through a download request or support message.

8. Availability and limits

We may limit request frequency, file size, formats or processing time to keep the service healthy, and we may change or withdraw features. Source platforms change their internals without notice, so a resolver can stop working. Keep your own lawful copies of files you need.

9. Disclaimers and liability

The service is provided “as available”. To the extent the law allows, we exclude implied warranties and are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, or for loss arising from use outside the personal, non-commercial scope described here. Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded, or your mandatory consumer rights.

10. Changes and contact

We may update these terms; the effective date above will change. Continued use after an update means you accept the current version. Copyright concerns follow our copyright policy, privacy requests follow our privacy policy, and anything else can go to extractvids@gmail.com.
